Event Description

Hi everyone!

Our Heart and Soul meeting falls on the same day as Vancouver Film Premiere: The Economics of Happiness. As there is likely alot of interest in our group to see this film, this will be our gathering for the evening.

Location: W2 Storyeum 152 West Cordova

Time: March 3rd. The film starts at 6:30 pm. Afterward, those of us who would like to get together to discuss the film please meet at the front entrance. Please email me to let me know if you are coming, so that we know how many people to look out for: anna@villagevancouver.ca

*Admission by donation at the door (no one turned away for lack of funds).  First come, first seated.

For more information on the film please see below and this site: http://buildleadchange.wordpress.com/the-economics-of-happiness/
“The Economics of Happiness” is a 1 hour documentary about the worldwide movement for economic localization. Film will be preceded by two speakers active in the relocalization movement.
Speakers include Sean Markey (Centre for Sustainable Community Development) and Melanie Conn (DEVCO).

Hosted by: Simon Fraser University Certificate Program for Community Economic Development, in conjunction with Building Leadership to Create Change: 2011 BC Community Economic Development Network Gathering.

I hope you can make it!
(Our regular Heart and Soul meeting/potlucks will be held the first Thursday of the month. Next meeting will be the evening of April 7th)
