Comment by Ross Moster on June 17, 2011 at 11:35pm Yay, Rayna!
We'll figure it out tomorrow -- I know we need some general volunteers doing the day to sit at the tables, probably need some simple signs made up. etc.
Comment by Shelby Tay on June 17, 2011 at 3:04pm Good to hear you making the call, Amy. Self-care is so important. Have a great weekend and thanks for the heads up!
Cheers,
Shelby
Comment by Ross Moster on June 17, 2011 at 2:38pm Hi Amy,
I hope you feel better soon, and we look forward to your re-engagement at that time.
If you don't think you can make it - I'm picking a tent from the tool library around noon tomorrow and you could drop the fliers there for p/up.
But I hope you can at least get to see the village - it's going to be a whole lot of fun!!!
Cheers,
Ross
Comment by Amy Tran on June 17, 2011 at 2:05pm Hi everyone,
In the interests of self-care, I will most unfortunately have to back out of helping VV at Car-Free this year. I hope to be able to drop by with some materials for the Cedar Cottage Seed Saving Collective, however, and maybe take a few snaps while I'm at it. Good luck everyone, and apologies for having to suspend my activities with VV for a little while.

Comment by Mary R. Adkins Cartee on June 14, 2011 at 12:48pm I posted this on the spreadsheet, but I wanted to let all know that I can volunteer either 10am-2pm or 6-9pm; one or the other, but not both. Let me know at maryradkins@yahoo.com
Thanks!
Mary

Comment by Charlotte Adamson on June 11, 2011 at 11:43pm Hi Shelby,
I don't think that I can add this myself, but I will be able to help set up from 10 - 12. I may be able to stay for a bit to help out at 12 (approx 1/2 hour).
Comment by Shelby Tay on June 9, 2011 at 5:38pm Hi all,
This is great! I just posted the links to the spreadsheets for keeping track of activities and who's doing what:
This year - 2011 spreadsheet signup: http://ow.ly/5erCy
Last year - 2010 activities (for ideas): http://ow.ly/5erDz
I'll start contacting folks from last year to see if they'd be willing to participate again.
Cheers!
Comment by Ross Moster on June 8, 2011 at 4:13pm We will be demonstrating in the demo village how permaculture plays a big part in the Transition work Village is doing. Hoping to have some kids permie stuff (generated by kids) stuff as part of this. Stay tuned!
