Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

I think it would be fun to organize a day where people who either have a Chicken Coop or are interested in buying or building a Coop can get a list of some  local Chicken Coop owners who would be willing to  open up their Coops for new comers to get some ideas and to share some knowledge for one day?
"Tour De VanCoopVer"
Maybe in August?
Feed back and ideas are welcome

Great idea.... try adding your images by clicking the little camera button, then browse to find the file on your computer, then click 'options' which allows you to set the alignment, size and if you want to link to the original. Here's ours:

Great shot, it looks huge from this photo
Thank for the tip
that's a great idea! I'm in, August is good for me except the week of the 23rd. I've seen a few coops and the experience is invaluable! I know that there are things I would have done differently had I had the opportunity to speak to others beforehand...
I have built four chicken coops over the years and you always find new ways to improve on the next one. Always thinking of the Gurls and their needs.
really like this idea and am more than happy to show off our coop, mind you I'm afraid ours is rather pedestrian compared to the above pics, mmm maybe time to get the paintbrushes out....
Bev, I'm a painter with lot's of half cans of paint lying around.
If you need some colors let me know.
Some folks here near main street have been talking about the possibility of a tour. I've counted at least 6 coops within about a 3 block radius. You wouldn't need to go far for a tour here.

we are at main and king ed, where are you?
Quebec and 23
Maybe we could have several tours in different neighbourhoods?
East Side /West side?
I'm by Commercial and 12th.

I would love to connect with others, there's so much to learn....
