Bring on the Rain!

We got our rain barrels set up yesterday. Had to clean out the gutters which was one of my least favorite jobs on my little farm so far but I find myself looking forward to the rain for the first time ever so that's cool. We were going to make them ourselves but the ones the city is selling were only $75 each and come with everything you need so we decided to go with those ones. My boyfriend had an unexpected day off yesterday so we had a very productive day in the yard. We got lots more seeds started... more lettuce & green onions, more beans, tomatoes, herbs, cucumbers....…

Less Physics, More Farming!

I've p retty much been on house arrest for the past couple of weeks but I wrote my physics exam today and don't have another exam until the 29th so I finally have a little bit of breathing room. Really looking forward to getting out in the yard without feeling guilty because I should be studying! Hopefully the weather will cooperate but I'll get out even if its raining.
