Take a break from all of you activism and enjoy a potluck, free food seedlings and a urban farming presentation.
The Main Street Neighbourhood village is holding our monthly potluck dinner and presentation tonight (Tuesday, 7 June) at Little Mountain Neighbourhood House on Main Street at 24th Ave (adjacent to the library). Dinner and a free seed and food plant seedling giveaway start at 6:00 and then an urban gardening presentation and discussion begins at 7 for about an hour. Come and stay as long as you want, or just drop by at any time.

Now VV has arrived! It is great that we have finally attracted you, and I hope we can provide an army to help implement your ideas. Vancouver sorely lacks a grassroots, truly green, and democratic movement to drive genuine progress toward everything from Kyoto compliance to social justice. This is the core of Transition.
Vancouver is walking off a cliff without knowing it, and the hard times to come will give this movement ever stronger reasons to be.
