Hi Brian - thanks!! Unfortunately I can't make it on Tuesday. How much does 1 large frame of honey and 1 small frame of honey weigh? Do you substract the wax weight when calculating the honey need for the winter? Yup - I have no idea where the queen is hiding out in the deeps....

Thanks for accepting my friends request!  I think this is the neatest site! So happy to be a part of it.

As for bee keeping, I am going to see if my dad and mom could attend your workshop.  They live on Bowen Island and have the perfect environment for honey bees!

One other thing, if you would like I do a sustainability focused blog and I would be more than happy to post the event details of your bee keeping workshop to bring more awareness in the kitsilano community.  It would be posted on my work blog: http://www.myessentia.com/blog/vancouver/

I am always looking for sustainability and green focused events to bring awareness to.

Let me know what you think, would be happy to help.

Have a great day and weekend,

Crystal
