Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Hi, most of us who have herbs in our garden, can share plants as they typically spread.
Any time you're walking by the corner of 5th and Trafalgar, feel free to pinch a bit of any of the herbs growing there. Most can be pinched by hand - enjoy the scent or take home to make tea or a garnish.
Some are woody (savoury, rosemary) so you might need some little scissors to get a hefty piece. Feel free to take a cutting for planting your own as well, or ask me for a pot.

Here's a nice article on growing and brewing tea with herbs:

Would you like a pot of chives, marjoram, oregano, chocolate mint, lemon balm? Just drop me a note and I can bring to the next potluck. maryinvancouver@gmail.com

If you have - low growing thyme (wooly? creeping?), catnip, cat grass for sharing, I'd like some if you have enough to share.
