Chloe Bennett has created a Bees Please habitat in the Traffic Circle at 6th and Yew. I now have the traffic circle at 6th and Trafalgar and have got (with 2 housing co-op friends) a grant from Neighbourhood Matching Grants through Kits house for $200 to construct a habitat and enhance the garden for bees and $200 for a celebration - probably on Labour Day weekend - which we envision as a parade from 6th & Yew to 6th & Trafalgar, possibly stopping en route for music, snacks and viewing the honey stand.
