Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
We maintain a seed linbrary, making seeds available and providing information on seed saving at many local events, collaborative garden work parties, etc. In 2012, we were present at 25-30 different events and activties in Kits and in nearby neighbourhoods. We can sometimes make small donations of seeds to new gardens, including school and youth gardens. Part of the Kits Village food network, including the Kits Village Collaborative Garden.

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
