Event Description

Come enjoy a meal created and hosted by your neighbours Valentine and Alex in Marpole. Open to anyone, the drop-ins are especially aimed at neighbours living close to the host - usually within 2 or 3 blocks - but in this case, anyone living in Marpole is particularly welcome to attend.

This is one in a series of dinners, supported by a Green Neighbourhood Small Grant from the Vancouver Foundation (administered by Kits Neighbourhood House), to increase awareness of our food sources and promote community connections.

The source of the ingredients will be tracked, and we'll collate how local our eating habits are at the community gathering on February 1st.

They’re called Drop-in “Spaghetti” nights, because many of the ones we've held in past years have involved serving spaghetti. Each meal, however, is different, depending on what the host wants to serve.

Valentine and Alex would like, as much as possible, to cook a meal based on participants diets, so please indicate if you're a vegetarian or carnivore, or have other preferences, allergies, etc.

Limited to 8 participants.

Exact address will be emailed a couple days before the event to those who RSVP here or to ross@villagevancouver.ca.
