Event Description

Cedar Cottage Seed Saving Collective presents a Community Seed Saving Workshop!

 

Join us on Sunday 29th of May from 1pm to 4pm at the Strathcona Community Center to learn how to save your own seed this season and become involved in neighbourhood-based efforts to create local, living seedbanks.

 

We will be covering basic to intermediate seed saving techniques, including detailed infomation on 6 popular veggies, and hands on demonstrations.

Workshop limited to first 20 participants who register!

 

10$ by donation (no one turned away for lack of funds) includes the Five Levels of Seed Saving booklet for you to keep.

The workshop went very well today and another workshop will be held in the fall.  There were several Gaia College participants so that was fabulous.  Let us know if you're interested by contacting us at:

That's great that you're able to offer the workshop for $10, especially as Five Levels of Seed Saving normally costs $6. The seed collective is doing vital work, and I hope a lot of people take advantage of this opportunity.
