Village Vancouver said… Hi Heather,
Sunday afternoon's probably best. I'm just waiting to hear when a late morning meeting is over, and then we can figure out a time. Meet at Rhizome Cafe on Broadway?
Thanks,
Ross
Village Vancouver said… Hi Heather,
Great. there are lots of ways to engage in VV. I'm going out of town on Tuesday for a couple weeks. Want to try to connect before then? This Friday isn't good, but others days are (including the holiday weekend).
Cheers,
Ross
Jordan Bober said… Hi Heather,
Jordan here - I am your neighbour in Grandview-Woodland and, as Ross mentioned, I am working on Open Money initiatives with Village Vancouver. If you're interested in helping to spearhead something like a time bank here in Vancouver, I'd love to discuss with you. I'll be around until mid-September, then I'll be away for three weeks before returning again, so let me know if you'll be available sometime in the next couple of weeks.
Looking forward to meeting you,
Jordan
Ross Moster said… Hi Heather,
Welcome to Village Vancouver! I'm seeing your interest in Time Banks, and have passed your name along to Jordan Bober, who is spearheading our Community Currency project. (He also lives in Grandview Woodland village.)
It look like you've done a lot of interesting things. If you're interested, I'd like to get together for coffee/tea and discuss how you might get involved with VV.
Cheers,
Ross
