Village Vancouver

Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities

Hi everyone,

I'm posting this in a few places so sorry if you've already read this, but I've got some SUGAR WATER KEFIR grains and KOMBUCHA.  If anyone is interested in either of these, I'd love to share!  Basically, these guys double themselves on a regular basis....which means I will pretty regularly be looking for new homes for the extra growth.  If I don't have a scoby or enough sugar water kefir grains to share at the moment, I will soon enough.  So please do contact me anytime if you're interested.

If you've never tried it before, neither did I until I moved here a couple months ago.  But there's loads of info online and they're super helpful.

I can also send you the email with directions that I was given by the freecycler who gave me my kombucha starter...it's pretty much all the basics you'll need to know to get started.

Transportation

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

Housing

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
