Get a jump start on the gardening season by joining Seed to Sky Garden Club and Tom Liu for a hands-on session on pruning Japanese maples, fruit trees, roses, hydrangea, skimmia and more.
Tom Liu is a professional gardener and landscaper in Vancouver. Originally from China, he extensively studied and taught the art of Bonsai in California. He now brings the artistry of thoughtful pruning and loving care to his work in Vancouver gardens.
Join us for this unique opportunity to learn from a master.
If you have a bonsai tree or a Japanese maple in a portable pot, bring it along for some gardening advice from an expert.
This session will be outside in the community garden adjacent to Cityview Baptist Church, (4370 Sophia at 28th) rain or shine, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Refreshments, including hot chocolate, will be served at the end of the session inside the church.
