Event Description

An Afternoon at the Library: Lots More than Books!

There are lots of delicious veggies and other edibles that can be grown for cool weather harvesting, and now's the time to plan and plant your Fall, winter, and overwintering crops! In this Westside Neighbourhood Food Network workshop with Karen Ageson from Farmers on 57th, you'll learn how, when, and what to plant for a bountiful late season and early 2019 harvest. We'll have Village Vancouver Kits branch VPL Seed Library there - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds. This workshop is part of the Westside Food Festival (July 5 - August 9).
