Event Description
Our first Village Surrey meeting was very promising. Seven enthusiastic villager were in attendance. We assessed our current situation globally and tried to brainstorm about ways that we could transition our lives out of this dysfunctional state locally and collectively. Some of us are already active in such communitarian projects locally especially concerning the issue of food security and autonomy as well as social justice issues. We plan to participate in such projects and help create others including those beyond food while strengthening our relationships to become a resilient collectively self-reliant community.
Please come and join us in our next meeting, as we welcome new villagers. We will try to organize ourselves effectively, as we tackle issues facing our lives in a socially constructive way respectful of evidence and our collective wisdom. And we plan to enjoy the struggle.
