Join us at the SFU Burnaby Pocket Market on what will hopefully be a crisp, clear Autumn's day to get into the Halloween spirit! After getting goulish with a lively carved pumpkin competition, get in the know about how things grow with our urban seed saving workshop while enjoying hot apple cider. This workshop is a perfect way to celebrate the harvest and will inspire you to start saving your seeds!

We will discuss techniques and concepts in seed saving, the importance of seed saving heirloom varieties, how seed saving exchanges operate, and how to start your own!
