“Permaculture is a system of design for creating sustainable human settlements.” Permaculture: A Designer’s Manual by Bill Mollison

-
This 12 day course will provide students with the information essential to becoming proficient designers and creating systems that are ecologically sound, and sustainable over the long term, with an emphasis on regenerative assets and renewable resources. Permaculture systems are modeled from natural ecological systems, inspired by patterns in nature, and exhibit similar yields, resiliency and diversity to systems found in nature.

-
This course is for people who want to successfully design permaculture projects, institutions, organizations, and communities and who want to make a greater contribution to the planet by implementing positive small scale appropriate solutions.

-
The scientific foundation for Permaculture Design lies within the principles of ecology and through the principles and processes of functional, incremental, ecological, regenerative and sustainable design

-
A Permaculture Design Certification Course is for anyone interested in sustainable design, ecological design, and regenerative design. Professionals in the fields of Horticulture, Agriculture, Farming, Agroforestry, Gardening, Design, Agroecology, Community Building, Community Development, Contracting, Environmentalist, Activists, Educators, Organizers, Conservation Biologists, Urban Planners, Hippies, Architects, Foresters, Appropriate Technologists and Tree Huggers will all find the (PDC) a valuable addition to their educational foundation and will empower you to bring about great change in your community and around the globe.
