There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)

    Hi Lucia

Why don't you join the Dunbar Transition Village, we're the closest active village to youand we've got lots of activities going on.

By joining the DTV group, we can keep you posted of new events or issues directly relevant to our part of Vancouver. We've got several really interesting projects underway, like the Dunbar dollar and the emergency preparedness program. Hope you'll join in, we can always use extra resources and enthusiasm.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

    Cheers.

    Ann

    Hi Lucia

If you're interested in organizing there is a meeting of the working group for Dunbar on Wed at 11 am at the French Cafe on the corner of Collingwood and 41st. You'd be welcome to join us.

The next couple of events are workshops, a gardening one focused on tomatoes and a cheesemaking one. The event and Dunbar pages have the details. Both are being held at St. Philips. Our next movie night is the 2nd Thursday at St Philips for another alternative.

    Cheers.

    Ann
