    ** Our December Little Mountain Neighbourhood House Potluck will be on Tuesday December the 6th from 6 to 8 PM.  This month's potluck will be an early winter solstice party, wrapping up a great first year of these monthly potlucks and sharing warm, healthy food.

    We will be having a beginner's beekeeping workshop starting at 7PM.  Come join us for food and then join two of our neighborhood beekeepers for the basics of beekeeping.

    What: Main Street Neighbourhood-Little Mountain Neighbourhood Potluck & Beekeeping Workshop
    When: Tuesday, December 6th, 6-8pm:  6pm - potluck, 7pm - workshop
    Where: Little Mountain Neighbourhood House (3981 Main St. at 24th)
    Why:  Winter is a time of togetherness, warm food, and building community.  Learn to keep your own bees!

    I love Nancy Turner's books! I read about BC native food plants. I collected some seeds this year and plan to germinate annuals this year, and berry plants next year (if they are still feasible)!
    Id love to talk sometime about the projects you are into!
