Hi Ferenc,
it would be great to have you involved. The site in New Westminster was started last spring as part of a community garden expansion. The site is small but really interest ing to work with . A sunny south faceing slope between a church and a heat retaining wall. So far the initial bed prep has begun. Lots of sheet mulching and some initial plantings of berry bushes. But this winter we are hoping to get a serious group of forest gardeners together to really examine the planting and get things going for spring.
the site in Mount pleasant is still in the planning stages and is also part of a community garden development. So far initial plans have been approved by site parks dept. Next comes the fundraising of which we just kicked-off last week.

yes, yes, yes! let's discuss this. elders and children are both very worthy topics. it would be great to develop strategies to get both groups more involved in gardening.

Hey Ferenc, I love your ideas about the 22nd stn! They are fabulous, and i think, would contribute greatly to its overall success!
I'm a wee bit injured, but i have to draw up a site analysis and plan in the winter to submit to translink. Would you be interested in collaborating, or even just adding your cool ideas into the mix once its drawn up?
have just begun composting fallen leaves in burnaby at a neighbor s back yard on frederick st near imperial .now that am laid off will soon begin turning over some sod for a new raised bed on capitol hill and would be very glad to give you a hand near the 22n st ,easy bicycle ride would be glad to begin planting some shallots,clover,mints,could transplant some small goji berry plants .am interested in setting up a pollinator pathwasy ,seattle has done so.interest also in bumble bees,they like borage,clover,chives,etc.what projects do you have now
