*Depth of Field: Film Screening and Community Event

From connecting growers directly with eaters to turning eaters into growers -shortening the food production chain is a critical solution to the challenges of the modern food system. Join this free (monetary or non-perishable food donations are
welcome!) community event to learn more about such important topics as food sovereignty, food resiliency and food sustainability. The film screening of three documentaries Amara Farms - The Hands that Feed Us, Lucky Bug Farm - Depth of Field and Grounded Acres - Depth of Field, brought to you by the National Farmers Union (NFU) will start this timely conversation. Before and after the screening, connect
with our local food system experts from the NFU/Sierra Club of BC, Farm to Plate Marketplace, Village Vancouver, Food4Thought and Westside Food Collaborative on
the ways that YOU can play a part in supporting a sustainable and just food system, starting in your own neighbourhood. Refreshments provided. Free gardening seeds available.
