Event Description

Join WE Neighbourhood Food Network and Village Vancouver at our monthly family friendly gatherings. Bring something yummy, share some good food and conversation with neighbours, and pick up a 2018-19 West End Urban Garden Calendar. This month's workshop is Growing Your Own Sprouts workshop. We'll have the West End community seed library there - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds or plants.

The Food Network's WE Urban Garden Club meets after the potluck until 3:30. Join us in exploring possibilities for creating a new community garden and other gardening spaces in the West End. This month's topic is Benefit from Invasive Plant Species in your Garden. In addition, we'll hear from our WeBee pollinators group and our Seed Savers group, and we'll discuss potential new workshops and activities. All ages welcome, and you don't have to have a garden to attend!

FREE. Registration required: #158320 WECC 604.257.8333 or in person, or online: Community Potluck on Vancouver Recreation (  ).

Enrol separately for the Garden Club #158329 (      ). For more info: WENFN -- Ross Moster ross.wenfn@gmail.com. or visit foodwestend.wordpress.com, Village Vancouver -- ross@villagevancouver.ca.
