Event Description

Join edible landscapes expert Robin Wheeler for workshops on food growing and security in the highly urbanized setting of the West End.  Presentations, discussions, Q&A, handouts.     


Personal Food Security 10:30 to 12 noon, Saturday, Oct 8

Apartment Gardening 10:30 to 12 noon, Sunday, Oct 9

Edible Landscaping 1:30 to 3 pm, Sunday, Oct 9

 

$5 donation (for 1, 2 or all 3)

Ross -- sorry I have a garden work party on Saturday and am helping a friend on Sunday with her garden, so won't be available for these sessions.  Thanks for organizing though.  cylia

Hey, I forgot to mention that Robin teaches traditional skills, sustenance gardening and medicinals at Edible Landscapes (www.ediblelandscapes.ca), a nursery and teaching garden in Roberts Creek, British Columbia, and is the author of Food Security for the Faint of Heart, and Gardening for the Faint of Heart.
