Susan,
I finally had time to check our new Find Answers Page and saw your question.  Here is what I wrote there:

We hope in the next few weeks to send out an email to all West Vancouver members of this site just to introduce everyone to each other.  We also want to organize a potluck meeting to which to invite everyone for a first face-to-face.  The summer is a great time for this.
If you would be interested in hosting the first such ice-breaker meeting after you've settled into your new home, this would be a big help.
Meanwhile, you can always search the Members Page at http://www.villagevancouver.ca/profiles/members/advancedSearch for "West Vancouver" under the "If you don't live in Vancouver" question (3rd one).  You will be able to see there are 7 Village members that come up as living in West Vancouver.
Make sure also to change your Profile at http://www.villagevancouver.ca/profiles/settings/editProfileInfo to signify your new home location and allow others to find you in the same way.
Randy
