Event Description

It can be easy to forget about the wealth of food that grows all around us. In this Village Vancouver Eldergreens workshop and walk, Lori Snyder from the Metis Nation will discuss how to identify and harvest wild, edible, and medicinal plants in an ethical way. Please dress appropriately for the weather. Rain or shine.

We'll have the a community Seed Library present -- you can take, swap or donate seeds.

$0-10 suggested donation. Free for Seniors (50 and over) and children 10 and under. Register here or to ross@villagevancouver.ca.


Organized and led by seniors, VV ElderGreens brings seniors, youth and others together to share food & gardening skills and wisdom through workshops and other activities. All ages welcome, please contact us if you're interested in getting involved.
