Event Description

Village Vancouver Eldergreens presents an interactive workshop on Native Pollinators with Erin Udal. You'll learn how to recognize some of the native species in Vancouver. Find out what types of plants will support our local bees and keep them buzzing in our balconies and garden - even the smallest green spaces can make a difference!

We'll have the VV-SCC Community Seed Library present and you'll be able to take seeds for your garden or swap or donate seeds.

Registration required (by April 12): #92888 through SCC 604.713.1838 or in person, or online (https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/vancouver/Activity_Search/introduction-to-native-pollinators/87899). For sliding scale fee ($0 - $10 suggested), register by phone or in-person.

Our healthy, local food residency at the Strathcona Park Field House offers a variety of affordable food and community based programming at the fieldhouse, Strathcona Community Centre, and elsewhere. This workshop is part of VV's 2017 Cultivating Food, Cultivating Community Series at Strathcona CC.
