HI Mathew,

I am sorry to say I'm not able to join you tonight but do want to stay in the loop of what is happening in Burnaby as we are really working on sustaining our school garden program at Forest Grove Elementary.

Perhaps in the spring whenever the next potluck occurs, I will be able to attend.

Thanks,

Barb

Hi Matthew,

I won't be able to attend the potluck this time.  Maybe later in the year.  I would like to see the goals of Village Burnaby included in the upcoming Environmental Sustainability Strategy process from the City.

Cheers,

...Alan

PS  There's not much time to get organized for this year, but Village Burnaby might like to have a display at the Stoney Creek community's Great Salmon Send-Off on May 12. We expect 1500 to 2000 participants.  If you are interested, please email Pat Hargreaves at phargreaves60@gmail.com.

Hi Mathew,

I have since moved out of Burnaby and am now apart of the Main Street group. I guess I forgot to change the address on profile. Thanks for letting me know about the new group in Burnaby, as my family still lives there and are interested in connecting with other folks about  gardening etc.

Take Care,

Caitie

Hey Mathew.

Sadly I am recovering from ankle surgery at the moment.  So will not be able to make this get together.  However, I have been busy doing a lot of computer work to promote some of our common goals.  As an example, I just finished designing and documenting an Open Source CEB (compressed earth brick) press.  I should be able to start building a real prototype soon depending on funds.  I am very committed to transitioning in all it's forms.

I would enjoy meeting locals who see what I see coming.  I will try to make the next meeting for sure.

Thanks,

Damien

Matthew, ignore my comment (is there anything going on this month?). I see there is on the 14th but sadly won't be able to make it. If you can send me info on what initiatives are being considered, what needs to be done, etc, that'd be super. Any other discussions this month, try my best to make it. Regards, Mehjabeen
