Hi Hendrik,

No worries, I'll let them know and we'll hold a spot for you - when you get back just be sure and let Strathcona know.

Definitely let folks know to signup in advance -we need to know we have enough registration at least 2-3 days in advance.

What age is considered senior? The Leisure Access Card takes up to 8 weeks to process.

Ross, it is not clear to me how I sign up here. I'm still in Europe so I cannot phone the Strathcona Community Centre from here. Is there another way to do this and soon? I really think a lot of people I know would be interested in taking this course, sign me up please!

Comment by Hendrik Beune on January 28, 2014 at 12:49pm

I've signed up for this course twice already and every time it got cancelled because of insufficient participation. I really want to take this course and I hope that enough people sign up this time!
I ecourage everyone to spead the word; This is what I advertized on Facebook: "I recommend all apartment dwellers to join me in this course. Learn how to grow vegetables and herbs inside your apartment, on your balcony or roof-top patio. You'll be so happy you did!"

Strathcona CC only take Visa, not MC. You can mail them a cheque or go there to register. Half price for Seniors!
