In which Vancouver neighbourhood or other community do you live?
Please tell us which areas of Transition interest you. For example: growing more food/urban agriculture, relocalizing our economy/local currency, Permaculture, transit, energy efficient buildings, the arts, urban homesteading, preserving seed diversity, placemaking, potlucks, outreach, organizing events, community-building, having fun while saving the world, or...
All of the above as well as community climate change and environmental education and information initiatives, and off the grid sustainable living.
What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?

Susan, I finally had time to check our new Find Answers Page and saw your question. Here is what I wrote there:
We hope in the next few weeks to send out an email to all West Vancouver members of this site just to introduce everyone to each other. We also want to organize a potluck meeting to which to invite everyone for a first face-to-face. The summer is a great time for this. If you would be interested in hosting the first such ice-breaker meeting after you've settled into your new home, this would be a big help. Meanwhile, you can always search the Members Page at http://www.villagevancouver.ca/profiles/members/advancedSearch for "West Vancouver" under the "If you don't live in Vancouver" question (3rd one). You will be able to see there are 7 Village members that come up as living in West Vancouver. Make sure also to change your Profile at http://www.villagevancouver.ca/profiles/settings/editProfileInfo to signify your new home location and allow others to find you in the same way. Randy
