Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
This year we're expanding the demonstration neighbourhood village to 8 tents (plus open space). We currently have 4 tents, and are looking to borrow 4 more.

We're happy to take some pamplets for you. And if you decide you or someone wants to be there to talk to people, have a sign, etc. just let me know.
Cheers,
Ross
Sounds great Ross. I probably won't be there but Chris and one of the other board members will be so I'll let them know.
We're not doing anything for Car Free Day - just too much going on this month for us to swing it unfortunately. Maybe we can give you some of our pamphlets to bring to the VV tent? Chris will have them at the shop if you want to take some.

Comment by Ross Moster on June 15, 2011 at 2:23am Thanks, Caitlin! We'll just cover the logos. Either myself or someone else will come round to pick up the tent on Saturday; I'll let you know who, if not me.
Is VTL doing anything for Car Free Day?
Ross
Hey Ross,
We have one that was donated to the tool library that you're welcome to use! The only thing is that it's not white - I think it has some logos on it (probably corporate...) that we were going to cover but haven't got around to yet. If you're not concerned about that then you're welcome to it! We'll be at the library on Satrurday from noon-3, someone could pick it up then.
Let me know!
Caitlin

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
