Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hey Folks, we are still short on shop volunteers over at the Vancouver Tool Library and are calling on YOU to get involved!
Shop volunteers work at the VTL during open hours and are responsible for signing up members, loaning out tools, performing tool maintenance checks, and other shop-related activities. We have a three-tiered volunteer training program that is built around a mentorship model to ensure that every volunteer has the chance to learn and grow in their position with the VTL. Shop volunteers are partnered with a supervisor or Board Member (their “mentor”), with whom they work one shift every two weeks.
Read more about it, and fill out a volunteer intake form on our webpage linked here; or if you aren't available yourself, please help us spread the word by sharing this with your networks!
