hi Chris, Ann mentioned a foraging group to me after Holgar's talk. i'm super interested so please keep me posted if you hear of anything or begin a group. i've been surfing the patches of nettles, clover, chickweed & random brasicas i come across. re: medicinals, if you haven't already done so, i recommend being in touch with Garliq, also on VV, as he does a lot of teaching & has a 5 wk class beginning soon.

I'd be interested in participating in such a group. Unfortunately I missed Holgar's talk so I'm not infomed but would love to be.
Comment by Chris Bevacqua on May 11, 2011 at 1:56pm Hi Chris
We just ran a foraging walk for the Dunbar Salmonberry Days festival. Holgar Laered led the walk around UBC farm. It was an amazing talk. I filled pages of my notebook.
As a result of the talk, a couple of us have decided we'd like to start a foraging group. I've also been out harvesting elderberry flowers and have made a cordial. We've been picking dandelion greens and flowers and will be making coffee and syrup.

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.
