Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hi Robin
I'd also like to extend my welcome to VV and suggest that you join the Dunbar village under the village tab.
We've got our regular movie night tomorrow night and we'll be showing the Clean Bin Project. This is an award winning documentary made by 2 Vancouverites. We're hoping the turnout is really high so please come and join us.
We've also got a couple of other projects going on in our neighbourhood including the local currency project - the Dunbar Dollar, and the Dunbar Emergency and Earthquake Preparedness Program (DEEP). Those two are keeping us rather busy so if you'd like to get involved we could sure use the extra help.
Look forward to meeting you soon.
Ann

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.
