Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hi Peter
I apologize for the delay in responding. I usually let Jordan Bober respond as he is heading up the community currency project and I'm sure he'll be very excited about you joining our group. Unfortunately Jordan's father has recently suffered a stroke and Jordan has gone back to help the family with the harvest (grain farmer).
Your experience sounds absolutely fantastic for this group. If you're keen to find out more about the Dunbar Dollar project (just the leading edge of a very interesting larger currency project), why don't you come out to the Dunbar Harvest festival this Saturday. It'll be from 11 to 3 pm and we'll be at the 18th and Dunbar location. There'll be a DD table, along with the VV and emergency preparedness people. all sharing the lot with the local pocket market.
Hope to see you then.
Welcome.
Ann

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.
