If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.

A human right? After food, most feel shelter is the most important necessity. A place of shelter is also the start of a community. This category is for all things relating to shelter, housing, affordable housing, homes, renewable heating systems, green buildings, heritage, and our built environment in general.

Hi Mihaela,
There is currently no VillageDelta. If you live close to Surrey you may want to consider checking out VillageSurrey which is in formation. I am actively trying to engage others interested in various Transition issues as the ones you stated above so we can have a first meeting where we can get to know each other and discuss the various issues and objectives that we would like to achieve collectively. If you are interested please also register at the VillageSurrey web page by clicking above at the Village tab, and then at the Village Surrey towards the bottom of the drop-down menu. This way you should have a better chance of getting notified about any events happening in relation to VillageSurrey.
Transitions is a non-authoritarian movement led by the collective interests, struggle, and resourcefulness of all its members. So your interests would be very welcome and could potentially facilitate our other communitarian interests synergically. Please feel free to contact me for more information and / or assistance at 778-578-6300. Kind Regards, Behrouz
