There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
-I am interested in lower income families creating their own food sustainability
-I am interested in my neighbourhood
-I am an RHN (holistic Nutritionist): studied natural nutrition, eco-nutrition.
-Hope to get a master in sustainable resources/ agriculture and food policy
- BA degree with international studies certificate ( studied in West/ Eastern Europe & southeast Asia)
What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?
-would like to see empowerment given to lower income families in regards to create their own food sustainability--hope for bettering their nourishment.
-Would love to see communities created and coming together. I believe it is integral for a well-rounded satiating lifestyle.
