have been helping my 80year old Chines neighbor to garden ,weeding and planting one6X35plot,with a row of 10-12 ft bamboos takes along a fence which fed us all  with beans daily summer long,in another plot we uprooted a decade of overgrown grass weeds and blackberries to plant lettuce, chard and salad greens, set up a trellis 6H on which we grew kabocha winter squash, which creates a bit of shade and privacy, and now we have dug up a flower bed to plant more lettuce, shallots, garlic&broad beans, plus she is now so proud of her garden which feeds herself and her family, friends admire it and come to visit, neighbors gave us praise and more seedlings, she is happier and more energetic, healthier too,we all had an excellent summer,ferenc_de_dalnoky@yahoo.com,give me a call and we can do the same for one of you neighbors, now is a great time to rake and compost leaves, dig in some compost and mushroom manure, plant field ,mizuna, peas, broad beans for green manure, shallot, garlic ,etc ,build another raised bed or three,or a cold frame
