Permaculture, preserving seed diversity, urban homesteading, Botany, having fun while saving the world.
There's a saying that "Transition is not a spectator sport". It's true! Village Vancouver runs on people power, and engaging in activities and projects together helps us accomplish more. Which groups, networks, neighbourhood villages, or projects do you think you might be interested in getting involved with? And what knowledge, skills, resources or other assets can you bring to the mix? (Don't be bashful!)
I have always had an infinite love of nature- both the lovely and the ugly parts of it. Working within a group that has involvement with plants, or even animals, would be terrific. I have been told by others that I can bring creativity, humour, and analysis to whatever I put my heart into. I am also into athletics as for I go to the gym every morning which I have been doing every since I was 14. Along with this, I used to draw and paint a bit and even got requested multiple times by people online and in real life to draw/paint for them.
What would you like to see improved in Vancouver or in your community regarding sustainability or resiliency? Do you have an idea for a new Transition project or activity?
I would love to see more diversity of weeds within the plant world of Vancouver; but most importantly for the people of Vancouver to respect how weeds help the natural biodiversity.

I still want to help the plants & wildlife of Vancouver, since I was not old enough to become involved with Vandusen Gardens & the Bloedel Conservatory. Im hoping I'll be able to help out in any way I can, hoping school wont get in the way.
