Farmers on 57th Farm Tour and Cover Crops Workshop

We’ll explore the Farmers on 57th market garden, learn about the farm’s unique role as a therapeutic and educational community space, and discuss how cover crops can improve soil fertility, reduce soil erosion, manage weeds, and more! About Farmers on 57th:
Farmers on 57th is a therapeutic, educational, and productive urban farm in the Marpole-Oakridge neighbourhood of Vancouver. Located on the on the grounds of George Pearson Centre (GPC), a Vancouver Coastal Health facility, the farm plays host to a market garden with a Community Supported Agriculture program, as well as a therapeutic garden for GPC residents.
