*Learn to Make Kimchi

Learn to make kimchi: a traditional fermented Korean side dish in this Village Vancouver workshop facilitated by Alyssa Kohlman from Fermentoring. Probiotic, raw, and Paleo-friendly. Vegan option available. You'll be fully active in creating the fermentation (wear clothes you don't mind preparing food in), and take home a jar customized to your level of spice-tolerance. Bring any of the following items that you can: cutting board, large knife, kitchen scissors, large bowl or tub, 500mL wide-mouth jar and lid. We'll have the VV-SCC Community Seed Library present and you'll be able to take seeds for your garden or swap or donate seeds.

Registration required (by March 27): #92895 through SCC 604.713.1838 or in person, or online (https://ca.apm.activecommunities.com/vancouver/Activity_Search/learn-to-make-kimchi/87906). For sliding scale fee ($0 - $20 suggested), register by phone or in-person.
