Join us to hear from the leading food justice activists and experts on current food policy issues and opportunities, as well as the vision for a just and resilient food system in Vancouver – and learn what your municipal candidates are ready to do to support this vision if elected. Municipal candidates from Vancouver Greens, Forward Together Vancouver, Team for a Liable Vancouver, OneCity Vancouver, and VOTE Socialist have confirmed their attendance.
The event is co-hosted by leading food justice activists and organizations, including Vancouver Neighbourhood Food Networks , South Vancouver Neighbourhood House, JFS Vancouver, Vancouver Food Runners, Village Vancouver Transition Town Initiative, Gordon Neighbourhood House, CityReach Care Society, Food Stash Foundation, South Vancouver Family Place, Farm-to-Plate Marketplace and supported by United Way BC - Lower Mainland Region and Vancity.
