*Westside Food Festival - Introduction to Canning

This hands on Village Vancouver workshop with Caitlin Dorward will introduce you to food safe methods for canning at home. We'll discuss techniques for canned foods such as jams, jellies, and pickles, and participants will take home a jar of the cherry jam or other seasonal product we make during the workshop. We'll have the West Point Grey Village Vancouver Community Seed Library present - pick up some free seeds for your garden, swap or donate seeds.

Cost: $7
