sick chicken
Hi fellow chicken owners,
My dark brahma seems to be very ill, and I am not sure what it is.
She is having trouble breathing,
She started making sporadic weird noises.
She seems very weak, and doesn't defend her self any more.
And today she didn't even leave the roost.
Does anybody know what this is??
It would be so helpful.

Hi Georgia,
I just read your post and ma curious to know the outcome - did she recover? If you can give us information on any other symptoms and possible diagnosis, I think it would be helpful to all!

Hi Vicky,
My chicken died after a week of being ill. I talked to my neighbor, who is a vet, and she thought is was probably pneumonia. I think that dark brahmas are exceptionally susceptible to sicknesses, because none of my other chickens got sick.
