Vancouver's Leader in Transition toward Strong, Resilient, Complete Communities
Hello all Chicken people
I would like to try another mix of scratch and am thinking of getting some from Westway Feed from Delta. Their organic mix is wholewheat, oats, barley and cracked corn. Cost is $15.50 / 20 kg bag.
Would anyone like to join in with me in getting some and is anyone ever out in Delta by car to pick it up?
Please reply by March 25. Many thanks - Laura

I'm interested. I've been feeding my girls commercial wild bird food, which they love, but I have a feeling is about as healthy as Twinkies.
I have access to MoDo coop cars but no other reason to go to Delta.

Permalink Reply by Laura Arp on May 10, 2012 at 3:12pm OK I did get to Delta and guess what - they had the same Otter Co-op scratch that I get at Mark's.
Somehow I had thought that they would stock another product.
Alyssa I got an extra bag - it is $17.40. Let me know if you want it I can drop it off.

If you have to leave your village, how will you get where you want to go? By car? Preferably not, both for your wallet and the earth’s sake. This category is for all discussions relating to how we all get around.
