February Plastic Recycling in Kits Village -- we now have a location, but we need one or more people to make sure the plastics get sorted properly (otherwise we need to cancel)

Hi all,

I'm happy to announce that Malin, who, as many of you know, coordinates our plastic recycling depot, gave birth to a baby girl on Friday! Big congratulations, Malin!

However, this also means that she won't be able to come to the next depot, which is scheduled for tomorrow (Wednesday the 15th) evening. Laura Lee and I are willing to host it this month, but we're both up to our ears in work, and can't take take responsibility for making sure that things get sorted properly.

Thus, unless someone steps up and offers to do this, we'll have to cancel this month's depot. (Another option would be for 2 or more people to collaborate, or for participants to agree to take collective responsibility for this.) Pickup is on Friday, so, weather permitting, it would also be possible to make sure things are sorted properly any time on Thursday.

We have some instructions on how to sort, and we have one month's experience under our belts, so it shouldn't be too difficult.

I need to let them know by 3:30 today whether we want a pickup this month, so if you're interested, please let me know as soon as possible, so I can submit the request.

Congratulations to Malin!

Hello everyone, thank you Ross for offering to house our plastic.  My thought is that I have so little plastic accumulated that I could wait a month for another pick up.  Anyone else?

Best to all,
Mia

Hi Mia,

Things just felt a little too rushed this month, and with Malin giving birth a few days ago, we've decided it makes sense to postpone until March.

Glad that works for you.

Cheers,

Ross
