Hi all,
Please join us for our 2nd planning meeting for Kits Block Parties Days: Celebrate Car Free Community 2012 to life for the 5th straight year! It's quite a delight to help our neighbours gain the tools to bring their neighbourhoods together with block parties and the amazing feedback from these gatherings is great year after year.
We'd like to get together and talk about the event and answer any questions you have as well as explore any ideas you may have. Join us in planning the big event -- we already have people contacting us wanting to host a block party for Car Free Days, and hope to see over 20 block parties in Kits this year!
We could use a variety of help, but we'll definitely need people to communicate with potential hosts, keep host lists updated, keep an eye on our email communications, review block party applications, organize re the barricades that allow us to open the streets to the parties, work on spreading the word and getting more parties going etc!
