Zero Waste Club is a series of community potlucks and workshops on recycling, reusing and reducing our waste.
Our first workshop will answer all your recycling questions! We'll learn about where our recycling goes, so be sure to bring all your "I don't know what to do with this" items for discussion!
We will also discuss what Zero Waste living is all about, and learn some easy first steps on the journey to reducing our landfill contributions.
Got stuff to go to the depot? For a minimum $3 donation, drop off your lightbulbs, batteries, paint, solvents, styrofoam, soft plastic and small household electronics and we'll take it to the right place. Maximum: as much as you can carry. (Proceeds go towards further workshops so we can keep this free!)
Potluck/Social at 6:30, Workshop at 7:30.
You could even start at the amazing Neighbour Savour event at Heritage Hall and then wander over a few blocks to join us at 7:30 for the workshop!
