Event Description

Don't miss this rare Vancouver chance to learn about Seed Saving from four top BC seedswomen.

Facilitated by Maria Hunter, Dragonfly Seeds; Mojave Kaplan, Planting Seeds Project; Robin Wheeler, Edible Landscapes; and Susan Davidson, BC Seeds www.bcseeds.org

We will be discussing seed saving basics, the politics of seeds, how to build seed collectives and learn to select for good traits. We’ll learn about isolation distances, small business creation, hear stories and work together to create the base for a local seed chapter.

Suggested donation: $30. Subsidies available; no one turned away for lack of funds. Limited to 25 participants.

To register: Strathcona Community Centre 604.713.1838 (CRN 45504.401)
