Event Description

SUNSET GARDENING WORKSHOP

LEARN HOW TO CONVERT GRASS LAWN TO A RICH SOIL FOR VEGETABLES, FRUITS AND FLOWERS!
MEET NEIGHBOURS INTERESTED IN COMMUNITY GARDENING PROJECTS IN SUNSET!
The workshop is free, and everyone who lives in Sunset is welcome!
WHAT TO BRING:
 If possible, please bring a bag of leaves or garden clippings. If you have garden compost, please bring that too!
 A shovel
WHAT WILL WE DO AND LEARN?
 The first half of the workshop is indoors at Sunset Community Centre. We will learn about how to build a rich, fertile soil.

 The second half of the workshop is hands-on! We will begin to make soil and create a new garden in Sunset Park, around the “mini – orchard”.
